Perfect tension for effortless cutting
The screw system is optimally adjusted at the factory. Our highly trained master scissors makers adjust each pair of scissors perfectly before it leaves our premises. This enables us to achieve an extremely low closing force, which reduces the effort required for cutting to a minimum—for maximum ergonomics when working. The particularly smooth cutting feel is the result of the perfect interaction between the blade and the screw system—not just the cutting edge. However, changing this perfectly coordinated default setting can cause the scissors to slip, kink hair, or even damage the cutting edges.
Our recommendation: Break in the scissors for about 6 months first. After this break-in period, minimal readjustment is possible if necessary.
Ball-gliding screw system
The ball-gliding screw system with ball bearings ensures extremely smooth, play-free movement. The screw system has a fine grid that can be adjusted using the ergonomic adjustment key.
